Why ZARQ
A pathway from access to opportunity.
Each stage builds on the last, so support doesn’t stop at a one-off workshop.

Practical digital, AI and technology skills.
- 03
Build
Real projects that become a portfolio.
- 04

Solving problems that matter locally.
- 05
Opportunity
Education, work and entrepreneurship.
01
Practical, not theoretical.
Young people learn by building real projects that grow into a portfolio they can show to employers and clients.
02
Rooted where the need is.
ZARQ is based in Matatiele, so programmes are shaped by the community they serve.
03
Built to last.
ZARQ Digital earns revenue from technology services, so programmes don’t depend on donations alone.
Our vision
What a ZARQ class will look like.
Hands-on, project-based and mentored: young people building with real hardware and software, with support at their side.
Ways to support
What your support makes possible.
Choose a focus, or combine them. We’ll put together a clear plan and budget with you.
01
Connect a learning space
Uncapped internet for a ZARQ learning space for twelve months, so learners can research, code and build online.
02
Equip a learner
A refurbished business-grade laptop with warranty, used by learners in class and for their projects.
03
Build the device bank
A shared bank of laptops for ZARQ programmes, matching our first-year goal of 5–10 devices.
04
Sponsor a cohort
Fund a full programme intake: learning, materials, mentorship and project work. We’ll scope the budget with you.
05
Founding partner of ZARQ Hub
Help establish a dedicated technology space in Matatiele, with naming and recognition opportunities.
