Zarq (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/828877/07), trading as Zarq ("we", "our", or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide when you visit our website (zarq.co.za) or contact us about our services and programmes.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily give us. This may include:
- Your name and contact details (email address and/or phone number) when you submit an enquiry via our contact form or reach out by email or WhatsApp.
- Information about your project or service request that you choose to share.
- Programme registration details, such as a learner’s name, age group and a parent or guardian’s contact details.
- Your email address if you sign up for updates.
Analytics, only with your consent. If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited and when someone sends an enquiry. If you choose “No thanks”, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time using “Analytics settings” at the bottom of every page.
Standard technical data such as IP addresses and page request logs may also be processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, as part of delivering and securing the website.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information you provide is used solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry or service request.
- Process and follow up on programme registrations, and keep parents and guardians informed.
- Send you updates, only if you signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Send you a quote, invoice, or project update related to work you have engaged us for.
- Improve our services based on feedback you share.
- Understand website usage to improve the site, only if you allowed analytics.
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you unsolicited marketing communications without your explicit consent.
3. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your details are kept within our internal operations and will not be disclosed to outside parties except where required by law or with your consent. Messages and sign-ups sent through our website forms are delivered to our inbox by our form provider, Web3Forms, which processes them only to pass them on to us. If you allow analytics, usage data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare.
4. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare and uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Communications via WhatsApp and email are subject to the security practices of those platforms. We do not store sensitive financial information such as banking or card details.
5. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external sites (for example, social media profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies independently.
6. Children’s Privacy
Zarq programmes are open to young people aged 5 and up. For anyone under 18, registration must be made or approved by a parent or guardian, and we keep them informed. We collect only what we need to run the programme, and we never use children’s personal information for commercial purposes.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Client and programme records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the service and as required by law, for example tax records. Update sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe. After that, we delete the information.

- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
